UCLA Extension Students represent professional adults who are involved in continuing education programs either for career development or personal learning enrichment. Many students have their college or post-graduate degrees and take extension courses to learn new skills and meet new people in their related fields of interests. Typically, classes meet one evening a week for 3 hours for a term of 12 weeks. Many classrooms are equipped with state of the art audio/visual presentation equipment with access to the internet to assist both students and instructors in giving presentations. Hi-Tech Classroom Our classes focus on the integration of international business, trade, and finance using emerging web based technologies and electronic commerce to facilitate international trade and finance. Mr. Nix's particular focus has been on the evolving European Union and its business, cultural, and trade relationships with the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Extension students come from diverse cultures representing over 50 countries from around the world. Many of the students enroll in one or more of the Certificated Programs offered by University Extension. For students who wish to
enroll in UCLA's Distance Learning Programs, they can learn more
by visiting OnLineLearning.net
