WILLIAM E. NIX studied for a Ph.D. Degree in Organizational Psychology at Texas Christian University, Fort Worth, Texas. He has had over 25 years experience in trading stocks, bonds, options, commodities, and financial futures contracts with major Wall Street Investment Banking firms. He has co-authored three books for the Dow Jones-Irwin Company on US and foreign financial markets. The DOW JONES-IRWIN GUIDE TO INTERNATIONAL SECURITIES, FUTURES, AND OPTIONS MARKETS; THE DOW JONES-IRWIN GUIDE TO STOCK INDEX FUTURES AND OPTIONS MARKETS; THE COMMODITY OPTIONS MARKETS. He is presently co-authoring THE IRWIN GUIDE TO REAL ESTATE SECURITIES AND FINANCING. In addition he has taught courses on international markets at UCLA Extension School of Business and Management, Texas Christian University, and the Institute for Financial Studies in Chicago, Illinois. Over a ten year period, Mr. Nix has developed proprietary computer programs and trading systems for handling risk management accounts for several major companies including the Campbell Soup Co. of Camden, New Jersey.

Mr. Nix is a Managing Director  with REAL ESTATE & BUSINESS FINANCE GROUP, Los Angeles, California. In this capacity he works with the real estate developers, prospective borrowers, and lenders on commercial real estate loans and properties. He assists the real estate department in underwriting loans and the securitization of loans for mortgage backed securities.

Mr. Nix is an instructor in international finance and investment analysis at UCLA - Department of Business & Management specializing in the commercial real estate, hotel management and hospitality industries. He has obtained Professional Designations in Investment Real Estate and Certificates with Specialization in Real Estate Appraisal, Finance, Law, and Marketing through the UCLA Department of Business, Engineering, and Management. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker . He has worked as an advisor to municipal governmental authorities and several foreign governments on issues involving privatization of state-owned enterprises.

Mr. Nix teaches seminar/workshops on the commercial applications of the Internet and World Wide Wide for developing international business contacts, marketing and delivery of products and services via on-line computer networks, web publishing with HTML language, and for providing a low-cost means of conducting transactions for payment, updating information files, updating software systems, and providing on-line service communications facilities. He was one of the first information providers for the CompuServe Information Service providing on-line information on world financial markets.
